Sierra D. Peters

Sierra joined the ACR Lab in 2019 and is currently completing her sixth year as a doctoral student in the Social Psychology program. Broadly, she is interested in drawing from social and evolutionary perspectives to explore how long-term romantic relationships begin, develop, and dissolve. Specifically, her program of research examines how various individual difference factors that both couple members bring into their relationships (e.g., mate preferences, attachment) influence their relationship processes and outcomes (e.g., infidelity, satisfaction, and stability). In her free time, Sierra enjoys hiking and spending time with her kitty.
