Kara L. Brizendine

Kara first joined the ACR Lab in 2019 as an undergraduate research assistant and is currently completing her second year as a doctoral student in the Social Psychology program. She is broadly interested in how ovulation and hormonal contraceptive use can influence the formation of relationships and relationship processes. She is additionally interested in evolutionary mismatch and how modern advances, such as hormonal contraceptives and online dating, can reinforce or inhibit evolutionary drives.
